Medical Review Board

What review means here

Every ingredient file is checked by a licensed reviewer before it goes up. The check covers the dose and the unit, the size of the trial, the safety signals, and whether we crossed from nutrition into medical advice. The reviewer reads the body of the ingredient file, not just the disclaimer at the bottom.

Who can review for us

Registered dietitians with an active Commission on Dietetic Registration number, pharmacists with an active state licence, and physicians with an active state medical licence. We check the licence against the public register before a name goes on a ingredient file, and the register link is published next to the name so you can check it yourself.

What a reviewer is not asked to do

A reviewer does not endorse a product, and does not sign a page off by agreeing with every sentence in it. When a reviewer and a writer disagree about how strong the evidence is, the page says so instead of picking the louder side.

Where we are right now

Nutri Mosaic went live in October 2026 and the review agreements are still being finalised. We do not put a name on a page until that person has agreed to it and we have confirmed the licence, so no individual reviewers are listed here yet. Pages currently carry the desk byline. Once review is in place, each ingredient file gets a reviewer line with a date, and older pages are updated in batches with the changes listed on the corrections page.

If you are a clinician

If you hold one of the credentials above and want to review for this desk, write to editorial@ and tell us which parts of the topic area you work in. Review is paid per page, the time commitment is a few pages a month, and your name and register link are the only things we publish about you.
